I like to make people permanent floral arrangements out of silk flowers as gifts. A lot of people have a bad impression of 'fake' flowers based on some of the not great ones that were made in the 1970's, but the newer types of flowers are really impressive. Sometimes people can't even tell that they are not cut flowers once they've touched them. This blog has some of my tips on the best ways to make realistic floral arrangements with silk flowers, as well as some ways that you can recycle older artificial blooms. It should be useful for anyone who enjoys flower arranging.
